Saturday, May 20th from 9am-3pm, SEND RELIEF BOSTON is hosting an event called “Friendship Day”. The goal is to serve those experiencing homelessness in Boston and to communicate friendship in the process. As a part of the event, they are partnering with Simplicity Mission, the New England Home and Center for Veterans, and Miracle Mile Ministries to provide different options and ways to serve. We will be gathering at 62 Northampton St in Boston and will begin serving in that space. SEND RELIEF BOSTON can offer you a free t-shirt and lunch, but you will offer you much more to those you meet. Come on your own or get a group to participate as churches come together to serve the city and consider what could be done in their own neighborhoods!
