By fulfilling these roles, you will play a pivotal part in leading our collaborative efforts to accomplish all that God has set before us at Renewal Church. Team members support the organization in accomplishing its mission and make it their personal mission to connect people to Jesus and to one another. The vision of seeing Jesus made famous, people made whole, and Boston made new are the responsibility of all team members.
College Director
Purpose: To disciple the college students of Renewal Church and equip them to live on mission for Jesus when they graduate.
Location: In-person, Boston, MA
Time Investment: 10 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Renewal Church seeks a spiritually mature and growing college director to build a culture of students living on mission for Jesus. The college director will lead a diverse group of college students from around the world to grow spiritually through mid-sized connection events and smaller discipleship groups. This individual will build a team of other adults passionate about developing and deploying college students.
Culture and Fit:
A desire for unity among diverse people and comfort working with various ethnic and racial backgrounds
Skill leading the church in discipleship with an awareness that non-Christians are participating and investigating Christianity
Plan and organize in advance as well as adjust very quickly to any change that might need to be made
Proven ability training leaders and volunteers (both practically and spiritually) within a small group ministry.
A self-starter who takes ownership of ministry and works rigorously toward improvement
Enjoys living in a big city

Worship director
Purpose: To lead both team members and the congregation to worship Jesus in ways that are both passionate and theologically rich.
Location: In-person, Boston, MA
Time Investment: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Renewal Church seeks a spiritually mature and growing worship director to build a culture of musicians and congregants worshiping Jesus passionately. The worship director will lead a diverse group of musicians from around the world to grow spiritually through thoughtful service planning, teaching on worship, and excellent musicianship.

A desire for unity among diverse people and comfort working with various ethnic and racial backgrounds
Skill discipling the worship team to become passionate worshippers in all of life
Plan and organize in advance as well as adjust very quickly to any change that might need to be made
Proven ability training leaders and volunteers (both practically and spiritually)
A self-starter who takes ownership of ministry and works rigorously toward improvement
Enjoys living in a big city
