Next Steps is an interactive experience that happens in one afternoon at Renewal. At the end, you’ll have the opportunity to join a community group, start serving, or join a Crew. Next Steps runs often throughout the year.

You were made for a purpose! Discover how God has shaped your unique personality and experiences to make an eternity shaping difference.
STEP 3
New Family
This week learn how to make church feel like “my family away from family.” The relationships you form will help you grow spiritually in a new way. If you desire to join the church as a member, you’ll have an opportunity during session 3.

We've designed it to be as streamlined as possible. We know the weekends are precious times, but we believe this time investment will pay dividends, helping you connect to God and to others in the community.
There are 3 sessions in Next Steps. All three sessions are held in one afternoon. Each session is 60 minutes.
+ What happens when I sign up?
When you sign up for Next Steps, you will receive an email with more instructions and information. We will reach out to you a few times over the course of the next few weeks with information you'll need.
+ I've been going to Renewal for a while. Should I still go to Next Steps?
If you have been going for Renewal for a while you can still go to Next Steps! Next Steps will help you connect more deeply to God, to Renewal, and to community, so regardless of when you started coming to Renewal, you will be welcome at Next Steps!
+ Do I need to take each step in order? Also, what if I miss a session?
Next Steps is a single session held in one afternoon from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
You don’t need to take Next Steps in order. While the content may flow better sequentially, it’s not required!
We also offer Next Steps multiple times throughout the year, so you can easily make up any steps you miss during the next session. This flexibility allows you to jump in anytime without delaying your progress, even if you can’t attend consecutive sessions.
+ Will I still be welcome at Renewal if I don't go to next steps?
Of course! While we would love for you to come to Next Steps, because it will help you grow and find community, we understand that everyone is at a different place in their faith journey.
+ Can I go to Next Steps if I'm still exploring or skeptical of faith?
Yes, you can come! You are welcome at Renewal and at Next Steps regardless of where you are on your faith journey. If you are still exploring or skeptical, Next Steps will still be a great step for you. You will get to learn more about the Christian faith and what this looks like practically in the lives of Christians and the church. You will also have fun and meet a bunch of great people!
