community groups are changing lives at renewal:

“Being a part of a small group has allowed me to connect with church in a way that I have not experienced in the 7 years since I left home. I look forward to Tuesday nights because I am able to celebrate good news with people I know are genuinely happy for me. On the days when I am upset, my small group is there for me and I do not feel like I have to filter my sadness. I am challenged by the members of my group to grow deeper in the word and really spend time with God everyday. My small group leaders are amazing (s/o to Adri and Nicole) and make me feel like I truly have found my people. I am excited to see what God continues to do as I stay connected.”

“Being part of a community group was an excellent way for me to learn more in depth about other people at church. Last year, it was my first time joining a community group, everyone was very welcoming and it felt like a very safe and fun place to share and participate. Being able to connect with the group has helped me grow my spiritual life and strengthened my faith.”
— Chris Ng (Musician)
“I’ve been in CG since last October and I cannot say enough how powerful and important it is to help me grow stronger in my spiritual life. I still remember those days when I first moved to Boston by myself, I struggled. Away from families and close friends, I felt lonely and stressed. However, God is rich in mercy and full of kindness. I’m so grateful that God lead me to find Renewal Church in Boston. CG definitely helps me focus on God’s words as much as possible throughout each week. In my CG family, we encourage each other, pray for each other, and praise our Lord together.”

When you sign up, the leader of your new Community Group will contact you with the address of the Group’s meeting place, the day and time of the meeting, and all the other information you’ll need to have a great experience.

+ When will my group meet?

Community Groups meet once a week. Most meetings are ninety minutes long, although some groups eat dinner together. Each group plans a meeting schedule over the holidays.

+ What will the people in my group be like?

Community Groups are made up of the same people that attend a Renewal worship service. You’ll most likely see a few people that you have seen on Sunday as well as some people that you’re meeting for the first time. It’s a great way to get to know other people outside of a Sunday service.

+ Can I invite others?

Invite as many friends, co-workers, neighbors, family, etc. that aren’t connected to another church. Community Groups are designed to get people connected to our church and to develop friendships with one another. The more people, the better.
